Hundreds of Bible prophecies were fulfilled in ancient times. For example, 700 years in advance, the Bible accurately said that Jesus was to be born in the town of Bethlehem, and that is what happened.
Micah 5:2 (RNKJV)
2 But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting.
Matthew 2:3-9 (RNKJV)
3 When Herod the king had heard these things, he was troubled, and all Jerusalem with him. 4 And when he had gathered all the chief priests and scribes of the people together, he demanded of them where the Messiah should be born. 5 And they said unto him, In Bethlehem of Judaea: for thus it is written by the prophet, 6 And thou Bethlehem, in the land of Juda, art not the least among the princes of Juda: for out of thee shall come a Governor, that shall rule my people Israel. 7 Then Herod, when he had privily called the wise men, inquired of them diligently what time the star appeared. 8 And he sent them to Bethlehem, and said, Go and search diligently for the young child; and when ye have found him, bring me word again, that I may come and worship him also. 9 When they had heard the king, they departed; and, lo, the star, which they saw in the east, went before them, till it came and stood over where the young child was.
In addition to many other prophecies about the Nazarene man Jeshua, who became better known as Jesus, the Bible also foretold that he would be born of a virgin and would eventually be betrayed for 30 pieces of silver. Those prophecies also came true. Surely no human could have foretold those things!
Isaiah 7:14 (RNKJV)
14 Therefore יהוה himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.
Zechariah 11:12-13 (RNKJV)
12 And I said unto them, If ye think good, give me my price; and if not, forbear. So they weighed for my price thirty pieces of silver. 13 And יהוה said unto me, Cast it unto the potter: a goodly price that I was prised at of them. And I took the thirty pieces of silver, and cast them to the potter in the house of יהוה.
Matthew 1:22-23 (RNKJV)
22 Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of יהוה by the prophet, saying, 23 Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, Elohim with us.
Matthew 27:3-5 (RNKJV)
3 Then Judas, which had betrayed him, when he saw that he was condemned, repented himself, and brought again the thirty pieces of silver to the chief priests and elders, 4 Saying, I have sinned in that I have betrayed the innocent blood. And they said, What is that to us? see thou to that. 5 And he cast down the pieces of silver in the temple, and departed, and went and hanged himself.
● Luke 21:10-12 (RNKJV)
10 Then said he unto them, Nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: 11 And great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines, and pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven. 12 But before all these, they shall lay their hands on you, and persecute you, delivering you up to the synagogues, and into prisons, being brought before kings and rulers for my name’s sake.
● There would be an “increasing of lawlessness.”
Matthew 24:12 (RNKJV)
12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.
● 2 Timothy 3:1-5 (RNKJV)
2 Timothy 3
1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. 2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, 4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of יהוה; 5 Having a form of reverence, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
Though lots of people are not interested in the Word of God, they better should have a close look at it. When you do know that so many previous predictions, many centuries after they were written down, became true we should worry when we see the predictions for times to come.
Do you not agree that the things talked about in the above-quoted verses are happening now? The truthfulness and accuracy of Bible prophecy show that the Bible is no ordinary book. It is the inspired Word of God!
2 Timothy 3:16-17 (RNKJV)
16 All scripture is given by inspiration of יהוה, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 17 That the man of יהוה may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.
We should know that it was out of heaven that the Divine Creator made His Voice heard for instruction of His creatures. (Deuteronomy 4:36) The signs and wonders which are written down in God’s Name are there for us to learn from. Written to whom it is about to be reckoned the Almighty Lord God of gods and King above all gods has given the world the Bible as best book of books to get to know the truth.
Those who have tried to change the teachings of God’s Word have not succeeded. the adversaries of God, though, did a lot to have God’s set apart or ‘Holy’ Name to disappear and to have the Godly Scriptures to be forgotten by man. Man did not succeed. When we compare the Bible that we have today with ancient copies of the Bible, they are the same. This shows that the Bible has not been changed over the years.
God foretells a time when he will establish peace earth wide. Those who want to know God and read His Word shall come to understand that God is willing to allow all those who are willing to connect with Him to find the entrance to His Kingdom. But people shall have to be aware that just not all people will be partakers of the Kingdom of God where those allowed shall live in total peace and unity in a marvellous relationship with God, Jesus and each other.
Under His Kingdom, a heavenly government, people will not “learn war anymore.” Instead, they will “beat their swords into plowshares.”
Isaiah 2:4 (RNKJV)
And he shall judge among the nations, and shall rebuke many people: and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more.
As brothers in Christ we want to warn people for more difficult times to come. We do see what is going on and what is been told in the Holy Scriptures. We also have faith that all that God planned He will bring to accomplishment. This gives us also the hope that the Adonai will bring an end to all injustice and suffering.
The Bible promises that God shall be with His creatures, i.e. with humanity, and He will live with them. We may look positively forward to the time that many will be pleased to be considered His people, and God Himself will be with them and be their God. When there shall be preached the Good News about the Kingdom of God, all over the world, after the Big Battle or Armageddon, God will wipe away every tear from their eyes. Then shall come the moment that we shall be able to say that
“Death will no longer exist”.
Revelation 21:3-4 (RNKJV)
3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of יהוה is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and יהוה himself shall be with them, and be their Elohim. 4 And יהוה shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
Having God His warnings for the times at hand, we should try to help each other to come to see the Biblical Truth and to work at our relationships, between the surrounding people, Jesus and the Most High God.
