Today 2 September lots of toddlers shall go to school for the first day in their life. A new world shall open for them, and from now on they shall have to learn to make new relationships.
The young parents shall look at their young children and wonder how they shall cope with all the new impulses.
What’s on your mind?
Work. School. Relationships. Health issues. Bills. (All of these.) With so much going on in our lives, it’s easy to be distracted from the things we actually want our lives to be about.
…set your heart on what is in heaven, where Christ rules at God’s right side. Think about what is up there, not about what is here on earth.
Colossians 3:1-2
In what way shall you as a young parent or as a grandparent wanting to guide your child along the paths of God? And how shall you try to get that child to build up good relationships with those around and with the Most High Creator God?
With the new season in front of you, this is an ideal time to make yourself a promise. Make sure that this year you shall be taking up the Bible to read more than just a few times.
Invest just a few minutes each day in meeting with God in His Word: the Bible. Then off and on throughout the day, think back on what those words mean in your life.
In March 2016 we created on Weebly a website to talk about man’s relationship with God. After we had done all the placing of pages and came to the contact form and placing of a Gravatar for the replies, we were brought to WordPress where we not only could choose a Gravatar but also got an offer for a free blog. This way next to our website “Relating to God” came “Relating to God blog” into existence on March the 9th 2016.
Relating to God Weebly site Blog page on its starting day 2016 03 09
For us it was an interesting experiment, knowing that certain platforms or blog systems generate more or less visitors. As such placing the identical articles and pages on both platform could give us some good overview and get us to know what would be the best platform or system to blog.
About handiness or easiness for publishing, for sure it is WordPress that gains. When looking at the analytics from Weebly, Google and WordPress the cyphers should give us a good indication, we would say, though we had an other impression. So we shall have to see how it goes in 2017.
For 2016 the Weebly site and blog has given us 933 sessions with 1 553 views for 699 users. This is much better than what we could get on WordPress. Here on WordPress we only reached 237 views from 135 visitors for the 58 articles published. Though we must confess from our own Christadelphian and on other sites, links are mostly made to Weebly, which also generates more readers from such links in articles referring to us.
Having this blog, being it a blog, makes it as a website also containing a diary or journal on a particularsubject, it indicates also that this WordPress site shall contain online ‘personal’ reflections, comments, and often hyperlinks, videos, and photographs provided by us, in opposition to the Weebly site where less hyperlinks shall be placed and no guest-authors shall be writing on it. Here you might find such writings by others. You can consider this blog a websitethat shall displaypostings by us but also by otherindividuals in chronologicalorderandpresenting links to comments on specificpostings as well as presenting links to other articles on the specific subjects. You also could consider this blog an Internet-based support group that want to share information about a particular topic, e.g., the way of looking for God, the way to come to, find and meet God.
This blog shall also present a journal giving you an idea of the developments of our journaling and our way to reach people, showing them the Way to God.
Here on the WordPress site or blog, it shall also be much easier for the readers to react.

Some blogs may attract large followings and are monetizedthroughadvertisementsand in otherways, but we do not receive any money form advertisements, though we have also no money to pay for an advertisement free webspace. As of 2007,thereweremorethan100millionblogsworldwide and we are just a very little one in the mass presenting not a very popular subject. Though we are convinced the matter is too important to be left in silence. Our master teacher Jesus Christ also gave his followers the task to go out and preach. Therefore we want to go out in the world and let our voice be heard about the coming Kingdom of God. Any support is more than welcome.
All the previous mentioned elements makes this platform going to develop a little bit different than the website, so we are very curious how the ciphers will show up after some time. It shall be worth it to compare the analytics for the blog and the Weebly site in the following years and to see how both evolve and shall be able to generate a public.
As a web log, an online, regularlyupdatedjournal or newsletterthat is readilyaccessible to thegeneralpublic by virtue of beingposted on a website, we do hope we may receive more visitors and have more views in the following years.
It is known that manybloggersreachrelativelyfewreadersanddiscussmatters of largelypersonalinterest. We too with this blog present a very specific subject of no particular interest by the mainstream population.
On this blog there shall not be a place for political matters or businesses matters, and we would think normally on this site we shall not go into the matters of the day. For such writings we are pleased that we shall have other places to bring our opinion. As such you shall be able to find some of our writings also on the Belgian Christadelphian Ecclesia site and the Flemish Brethren site (Broeders in Christus) in English and Dutch, the “Messiah for all” site as well on other places like at the Belgian Bible students, the Biblescholars site Bijbelvorsers, on Stepping Toesand on the lifestyle magazine and readers digest From Guestwriters.
It is at the two magazines Stepping Toes and From Guestwriters that we, like other bloggers shall have at timesbrokenimportantnewsstories or marshalledpublicopinions to utter on a matter of publicinterest. We do hope we may find you there as a reader of our and of the other authors as well.
At this blog you also may find writings by our Guestspeaker, who also shall present some interesting articles from the net and various guestwriters or re-blogged articles.
Article by Marcus Ampe, responsible for the Belgian Christadelphians and several websites
Last but not least you also may find articles by the responsible elder of the Belgian Christadelphians, brother Marcus Ampe. He presented the Dutch counterparts of the Weebly site and when necessary shall give some extra information or announcements.
We kindly invite you also to have a look at our About page and its following pages and see how we as a preaching organisation for you are able to help you.
We sincerely hope you might like our Aims, which should motivate you to go deeper into the matter of a godhead and the Real Only One True God and His sent one, the Messiah Jeshua or Jesus Christ, who as son of God we do hope you shall come to recognise as your Saviour and as the Way to God.
Let our writing inspire you further in the coming year and arouse you to read the Bible more intensive from 2017 onwards.
In the hope to find you reading more of our articles,we wish you all the best for 2017.
The Bible, like other scriptures, is open to interpretation depending on an individual’s religious background, personally-held beliefs, general understanding and many other factors. But we do have to be aware that it is God’s message to the world. It is His Word He has given to His creatures so that they might find Him and build up a good relationship with Him. It is the source which can bring us out of darkness.
Those assembled 66 books form the guide we are asking you to take with you on your trip to finding God. On the third component of the Flemish Triptych around looking for and finding God, the aim is to help those who have managed to do the first steps, namely looking for God (Op zoek naar God) and secondly finding the way which can bring us to God (De Weg naar God).
The blog on the third panel of the triptych opens with saying that we only can find something when we looked thoroughly “Vinden komt pas na goed zoeken“. Already in the first component of the triptych, as on our pages on the Relating to God site, we told our readers that we must know that our Creator Himself is ready to be found. He calls us. He wants to be found (De Schepper God wil gevonden worden).
Whilst the second component has its focus on the way to come to God, the final shutter looks at affirming the decisions which a person has to take when looking for God. Parts of texts published here in English shall be presented over there in Dutch. As such you may find the series on the seen and unseen, the touchable and untouchable, the transient and the imperishable, in Dutch on that site as well in different episodes.
The God of Israel said that Israel’s closeness to Him will be seen by the nations around about and it is Him Who all people in the world should come to find and worship. Him alone, and no other God. The God of gods warned people that He wants to relate to them only when they do not make any graven images of Him. Yes He Who demands not to make an idol for ourself, whether in the shape of anything in the heavens above or on the earth below or in the waters under the earth, is calling His creatures to come to Him and to give only worship to Him. the act of revering or adoring with dignity and high standing should only be done to the AlmightyDivine Creator, the ElohimJehovahHost of hosts.
Exodus 20:1-7 (RNKJV)
Exodus 20
1 And Elohim spake all these words, saying, 2 I am יהוה {Jehovah} thy Elohim, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. 3 Thou shalt have no other elohim before me. 4 Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth: 5 Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I יהוה thy Elohim am a jealous Elohim, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me; 6 And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments. 7 Thou shalt not take the name of יהוה thy Elohim in vain; for יהוה will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.
In that third section shall be given much attention to That One Who cannot be seen by man.
Exodus 33:19-20 (TS2009)
19 And He said, “I shall cause all My goodness to pass before you, and I shall proclaim the Name of יהוה {Jehovah} before you. And I shall favour him whom I favour, and shall have compassion on him whom I have compassion.” 20 But He said, “You are unable to see My face, for no man does see Me and live.”
The Way to God, God His only begottenson, the Nazareneman of flesh and blood, who really died, can be seen and it is him that we should follow. Whilst in the second component the focus is on Jesus Christ, the Messiah, the third component brings all knowledge together and looks at our relationship between Jesus, God, other people and other created elements like the plants and animals.
Our main focus over-there shall be on the one Who is Spirit and has nothing to do with gold or silver that man wants to use to portray Him.
Acts 17:29 (TS2009)
“Now then, since we are the offspring of Elohim, we should not think that the Elohim is like gold or silver or stone, an image made by the skill and thought of man.
John 4:24 (TS2009)
“Elohim is Spirit, and those who worship Him need to worship in spirit and truth.”
In the first two components we show how we may not be limited on our thinking, to what is going on in the world around us. All panels of the triptych show how we do have to become transformed. Transformed to God sensitivity, understanding the Awesomeness of His Presence around.
Galatians 4
1 And I say, for as long as the heir is a child, he is no different from a slave, though he is master of all, 2 but is under guardians and trustees till the time prearranged by the father. 3 So we also, when we were children, were under the elementary matters of the world, being enslaved. 4 But when the completion of the time came, Elohim sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under Torah, 5 to redeem those who were under Torah, in order to receive the adoption as sons. 6 And because you are sons, Elohim has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into your hearts, crying, “Abba, Father!” 7 So you are no longer a slave but a son, and if a son, also an heir of Elohim through Messiah. 8 But then, indeed, not knowing Elohim, you served those which by nature are not mighty ones.
Romans 8:9 (TS2009)
But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of Elohim dwells in you. And if anyone does not have the Spirit of Messiah, this one is not His.
Romans 8:16 (TS2009)
The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of Elohim,
Romans 8:24-28 (TS2009)
24 For in this expectation we were saved, but expectation that is seen is not expectation, for when anyone sees, does he expect it? 25 And if we expect what we do not see, we eagerly wait for it with endurance. 26 And in the same way the Spirit does help in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray, but the Spirit Himself pleads our case for us with groanings unutterable. 27 And He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He makes intercession for the set-apart ones according to Elohim. 28 And we know that all matters work together for good to those who love Elohim, to those who are called according to His purpose.

The second component of the triptych concerning looking and finding God treats the subject of the Way to God: “De weg naar God“.
De Weg naar God = the Way to God
“The way to God” is a site created for those who are sincerely looking for God and see in front of them many denominations or churches calling out that they have the truth, but all having very different ideas.
That site wants to show people there are many ways in front of us. We can choose out of a lot of options and directions. Man being confronted by so many religions and so many different groups in each religion may wonder which religion is the right one and in that religion for which group he or she has to go.
probably for the same reason that, when Adam & Eve sinned in the Garden of Eden, and thought God was near, they “hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God among the trees of the garden” (Genesis 3:8 NKJV). {Why People Don’t Come To Church}
Going to a church may be a valuable part of coming into the presence of God. Or when looking for God to find them there. But we should know that God is everywhere and not limited to one particular space.
“there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are naked and open to the eyes of Him to whom we must give account” (Hebrews 4:13 NKJV).

The world has to know that God is calling all people, sinners and those who try to live a good life and are doing good. Non-believers or un-believers also can do very good things and for them it would also be better if they could see the importance to go on the right way to God. Also to them this website, our Weebly twin, and the Dutch antipode wants to bring them to see that mankind has to come on the right track.
When you do not believe in God this site and for the Dutch readers the Flemish sites can bring you closer to the One Who wants to have a relationship with His creatures. As an unbeliever it shall not hurt to have a look at what we have to say or to make a visit at a Christianchurch and to see and hear what they have to tell you there.
It is when “an unbeliever or an uninformed person” attends church, that “the secrets of his heart are revealed; and so, falling down on his face, he will worship God” (1 Corinthians 14:24-25 NKJV). The churches of Christ invite you to come. {Why People Don’t Come To Church}
Lots of people may think you have to be a fool to believe in a god. “Idioot zijn om te geloven?” (Being an idiot to believe) tackles that idea and want to show you that perhaps you might be smarter than all those who want you to keep away from God.
“Paadjes, straten, autowegen, hoeken en kantjes” (Paths, streets, highways, corners and edges) looks at the world-map with her many paths, which bring people from one to an other place. It tells that even if we have a modern gps in the old ages already a very good satmap was provided by the Creator of all what we see around us.
The coming up series showing that there is a way to joy and eternal happiness shall be placed on that second component in Dutch, or should we better say shall be translated to this site in English?
Here too we shall look how you can experience the daily management and joy of God. On The Way to God (De Weg naar God) the focus is on the many roads man has in front of him but only one true Way to God. On that site we want to convince people that we can be sure that there is something much better than the life man finds here at the moment. We shall show that also this system of things shall be limited in time, the same as any living being is, but that we do have the prospect to something much better.
The coming up series on this site and in Dutch on the “Weg naar God” site shall bring answers to your questions about this and the future life.
On that site we also shall look at different religions and how even in Christian religious groups so many have gone far away form the Biblical teachings. Like on this site we want to bring all those who are looking for God to come to see that we should use the Books God provided and listen to His Words to come to the Truth.
Therefore please do make sure that you always keep the bible at hand to check what is really written there.

In “Argumenten tegen Bijbelse scheppingsverhaal ontzenuwd” (Arguments against biblical creation story refuted) we look at the creation and how certain people their ideas are contradicted and how we should better look at other Biblical texts (taking the whole 66 books their sayings into account) before we jump to conclusions. None of the texts may be separated from the other.
Romans 15:4 (RNKJV)
4 For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.
1 Corinthians 10:11 (RNKJV)
Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come.
2 Timothy 3:16 (RNKJV)
All scripture is given by inspiration of יהוה, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
2 Timothy 3:17 (RNKJV)
That the man of יהוה may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.
When you want to go on a search for truth and for God you may doubt if you would have enough time and if you could arrange it with your school-, home- or professional work. In “Werken, studeren en zoeken samen mogelijk” (Work, study and search together possible) we show our readers that it is possible to have your worldly duties not suffering under your spiritual duties. Going on a quest to find the truth, looking for the reasons of our being, has not to intervene with our normal daily duties. You can do both together, searching for God and searching for a normal life. It even helps to look for God in getting a more successful life.
Pentagram with one point up (de Guaita) Includes form of the “Pentagrammaton” (i.e. an incorrect attempt to derive a version of the Hebrew name of Jesus by adding the letter shin ש in the middle of the Tetragrammaton divine name yod-he-waw-he יהוה ). (Photo credit: Wikipedia)
On this site and our counterparts (in English and Dutch) we love to show that though there may be many ways to get somewhere, there is a road pattern presented to us, to easily find the right and shortest way to follow to go through a small gate and to make the right connection. > “Wegpatroon volgen om verbindingen aan te gaan” (Road pattern to follow to get links)
We do have to be conscious that there are roadblocks. In this world there are many things which stand in the way to come to a good relationship with the OneUnseenWho is behind everything. Materialism is the killer which has here eyes on each of us. In “Materie en tijdelijkheid” (Matter and temporal) we look at those things which surround us and attract a lot of people. The majority in this world is convinced that richness of wealthymaterialistic things shall bring them unfinished luck, joy and good friendship with others. In their conceitedness they lounge away from real luck, deceived by commercialism and media who lure us in all sorts, but the wrong adventures.
We all have to face the restricted lifespan of everything. “Het levende, het verderfelijke en het gestorvene” (The living, the pernicious and that what died) looks at all those things which surround us and which would like to gather, but should know about them, that we can not take them with us in our grave to another life.
We must know that there shall come a time when there shall be looked at the people who behaved themselves well, the good ones and the bad ones of this earth. “Goeden, slechten en het zichtbare en onzichtbare” (Good, bad and the visible and invisible) brings a sort of warning that we should take in mind what will be important in later days.

When you are looking for God and want to find Him for connecting with Him, we advise to use His Own Tool, He provide already in the past centuries. The Best Tool God Himself provided is His Word, presented to us in a divine library of 66 books (39 in Hebrew and/or Aramaic and 27 in Hebrew). It has become a best-seller of all times though many people never read it. In case more people would read it there would be less problems on earth. We would like to bring people so far that they go to look in their Bible for answers and to compare those things what are said by human beings and what is really said by the Divine Author or the Holy Scriptures, Who is a God Who does not tell lies.
19 God is not like a man, so that he would lie, nor is he like a son of man, so that he would be changed. Therefore, having spoken, will he not act? Has he ever spoken, and not fulfilled? (Numbers 23:19 CPDV)
Relating to God (Weebly website) God of gods page.
This God of gods Who is not a man of flesh and blood, but a Spirit, has given His word so that man can learn from it. And that is what we should do and help each individual to understand that it is God His Word they should listen to more than to words of man who like to bring forward their own dogma’s.
We would love people to accept the Words written as they are in the Bible, having them to come to see Who is who and having them to accept those Bible characters for what and who they are, always taking as their guide and remembering the Word of God.
24 God is Spirit. And so, those who worship him must worship in spirit and in truth.” (John 4.24 CPDV)
19 He responded: “I will show you all that is good, and I will call out with the name of the Lord before you. And I will take pity on whomever I will, and I will be lenient to whomever it will please me.”
20 And again he said: “You are not able to see my face. For man shall not see me and live.” (Exodus 33:20 CPDV)
16 In all things, take up the shield of faith, with which you may be able to extinguish all the fiery darts of the most wicked one.
17 And take up the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit (which is the Word of God).
18 Through every kind of prayer and supplication, pray at all times in spirit, and so be vigilant with every kind of earnest supplication, for all the saints, (Ephesians 6:16-18 CPDV)
12 For the Word of God is living and effective: more piercing than any two-edged sword, reaching to the division even between the soul and the spirit, even between the joints and the marrow, and so it discerns the thoughts and intentions of the heart.
13 And there is no created thing that is invisible to his sight. For all things are naked and open to the eyes of him, about whom we are speaking.
14 Therefore, since we have a great High Priest, who has pierced the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, we should hold to our confession.
15 For we do not have a high priest who is unable to have compassion on our infirmities, but rather one who was tempted in all things, just as we are, yet without sin.
16 Therefore, let us go forth with confidence toward the throne of grace, so that we may obtain mercy, and find grace, in a helpful time. (Hebbrews 4:12-16)
16 All Scripture, having been divinely inspired, is useful for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for instruction in justice,
17 so that the man of God may be perfect, having been trained for every good work. (2 Timothy 3:16-17 CPDV)
To come to a good relationship with somebody we may not twist the words that person speaks, the same for the biblical characters, when they say something we should not think something else. For example when God says that Jesus is His begottenson we should also read and accept that Jesus is the son of God and not making it in “being the god son“.
We should believe what is written in God’s Word, the Bible and should know that there shall come a time that people will not want to know about what is really written in it and would prefer to follow the teachings of men, like words of theologians.
3 For there shall be a time when they will not endure sound doctrine, but instead, according to their own desires, they will gather to themselves teachers, with itching ears,
4 and certainly, they will turn their hearing away from the truth, and they will be turned toward fables. (2 Timothy 4:3-4 CPDV)
Therefore we ask you to let our words settle and if you find something we say or write different from what you were taught, or perhaps even shocking, please do check everything we say with the Bible, and get your knowledge from that Word of God. At this site you are also welcome to ask your questions or give your remarks, if you have them, at the end of each article. We shall appreciate your contribution.
7 The beginning of wisdom is to obtain wisdom, and, with all that you possess, to acquire prudence. 8 Grasp her, and she will exalt you. You will be glorified by her, when you have embraced her. (Proverbs 4:7-8 CPDV)
3 For if you would call upon wisdom and bend your heart to prudence, 4 if you will seek her like money, and dig for her as if for treasure, 5 then you will understand the fear of the Lord, and you will discover the knowledge of God.
6 For the Lord bestows wisdom, and out of his mouth, prudence and knowledge.
7 He will preserve the salvation of the righteous, and he will protect those who walk in simplicity: 8 serving the paths of justice, and guarding the ways of sanctity.
9 Then you shall understand justice and judgment, and equity, and every good path.
10 If wisdom is to enter into your heart, and if knowledge is to become pleasing to your soul, 11 then counsel must guard you, and prudence must serve you, 12 so that you may be rescued from the evil way, and from the man who speaks perversities, 13 from those who leave the straight path to walk in dark ways, 14 who rejoice when they have done evil, and who exult in the most wicked things. (Proverbs 2:3-10 CPDV)
We would love those coming along our sites to join us on the climb to above. We do believe we should take the Bible as a book to be set apart (to be holy)
5 Every word of God is fire-tested. He is a bronze shield to those who hope in him.
6 Do not add anything to his words, lest you be reproved and be discovered to be a liar. (Proverbs 30:5-6 CPDV)
2 so that your ears may listen to wisdom, then bend your heart in order to know prudence.
(Micha 4:2-14 CPDV)
We endeavour to present ourself approved to God, a workman not made ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth and do hope to bring others to God by looking forward they too will share that Word with the true message in the right way.
15 Be solicitous in the task of presenting yourself before God as a proven and unashamed worker who has handled the Word of Truth correctly. (2 Timothy 2:15 CPDV)

With the Weebly site Relating to God we shall be able to see the difference of the amount of visitors opposite a WordPress site, and we shall have the opportunity to experience the differences with those sites of different providers.
For blogging WordPress proofed to be far superior to all the other systems we have tried. Therefore we shall see how the Weebly system works out for the newly created site “Relating to God” and offer this Relating to God Blog as a an additional gather way.
