Motivated by love

The One Who created everything and Who gave His Word, did all He did with a purpose and out of love.

The Bible teaches us that

“God is love.” (1 John 4:8)

Everything God does is motivated by love.

Out of love created man in His image also with the intention to have a good relationship with man. He wanted man to fit His creation and to have a nice and great life in a peaceful world. He did not have the intention that His creatures would have to suffer. But because of the rebellion of the first human beings, out of love God did not destroy them but gave the world into their hands. Man was allowed to make something of the world God had given in their hands.

Think about this:

If you had the power, would you remove all the suffering and injustice in the world?

When there is enough empathy in you and when you some part of the love of God in you, you would.

What about God?

God didn’t stop humans when they chose to rebel and do what is bad. As a Father He told His children that they had done wrong. He has the power to start all over again or to create new beings. But He gave His human beings the chance to create their own world. He even allowed them to do it in their own way.

So when something bad happens, we should remember that God didn’t make it happen. It would be unfair to blame God.

He has the power, and because he loves us, he will remove all suffering and injustice. There is a very good reason why God has not yet stopped bad things from happening. In later postings we will talk about that and show you that it is part of God’s love that man got so much to say about the world and was or is so free to do with the world, what he wants to do with it.

You can be sure that God loves us and that He is never to blame for our problems. In fact, He is the only One who can solve them. — Isaiah 33:2.

God is an exceptional eternal Spirit Being, set apart or holy. (Isaiah 6:3) Everything He does is pure, clean, and good. We can not say we can trust every other human being. But with God we can find Someone Who keeps to His Words and promises. So we can trust him. Humans are not like that. They sometimes do wrong things. And even the most honest ruler does not have the power to repair all the damage that bad people do. No one has as much power as God has. He can and will repair all the damage that has been done by bad people. He will remove all evil forever. — Read Psalm 37:9-11.

One day the world shall be convinced that He alone has the solution for us, to live in a restored world with a restored good relationship with God.

Bible offering hope and wisdom

The Most High Elohim Hashem Jehovah created the world and communicated with His creatures.

Throughout the ages His Words were notated so that next generations also could come to learn about their Creator and His Plan.

The Bible offers hope and wisdom for every challenge we face, no matter how big it seems (or how small). And, when we listen to God’s Word every day, He can completely transform our lives.

Therefore do not postpone. Do not wait for a better moment to start reading regularly the Word of God.

It is never too late to start building your Bible habit.

What’s on your mind?

Today 2 September lots of toddlers shall go to school for the first day in their life. A new world shall open for them, and from now on they shall have to learn to make new relationships.

The young parents shall look at their young children and wonder how they shall cope with all the new impulses.

What’s on your mind?

Work. School. Relationships. Health issues. Bills. (All of these.) With so much going on in our lives, it’s easy to be distracted from the things we actually want our lives to be about.

…set your heart on what is in heaven, where Christ rules at God’s right side. Think about what is up there, not about what is here on earth.

Colossians 3:1-2

In what way shall you as a young parent or as a grandparent wanting to guide your child along the paths of God? And how shall you try to get that child to build up good relationships with those around and with the Most High Creator God?

With the new season in front of you, this is an ideal time to make yourself a promise. Make sure that this year you shall be taking up the Bible to read more than just a few times.

Invest just a few minutes each day in meeting with God in His Word: the Bible. Then off and on throughout the day, think back on what those words mean in your life.

Relationship with this world or with God

In this world we try to build up relationships with people around us. That is not always easy. Furthermore lots of people are lured in the atractiveness to have material things, The relationship we have with our “things” is complicated. The happiness we feel from them is only temporary.

Everything we obtain here on earth can not be taken into the grave to an other world. 🌍 Everything we buy shall have its time.Like we are getting older, those things shall also getting older and often after some time not working any mor or not valuable any more.

True, lasting joy comes from choosing experiences that draw us closer to God.

We are better to connect with Him and to work on our relationship with Him. To get to know Him better He has given the world His Word. By that Word we can learn about the Divine Creator God, His Plan with mankind and the world, as well how the relationship went on with previous peoples and how He would love to see a restored relationship.

Getting our eyes onto Him shall bring us further than any man can bring us.

How do people want to grow and come closer to the Real God

In this world we see lots of religious groups and can find lots of people they believe in god/God. But we can wonder in which god or God they believe. The majority seems to believe in an other god than the God of the Bible. That god of the Holy Books is a Singular Spirit Being, though the god of the majority of Christians is for example a three-headed god who at moments does not know everything and can not do everything. The opposite, the God of the Bible is an All-knowing God Who is able to do everything. It is a god Who cannot be seen by man, who also can do nothing to Him. The god of those so called Christians is a god who was seen by many (though they did not fall death) and could be killed by man. This should have many wondering more about that non-eternal god who even did not know when he would be coming back or when the end-times would come. That last bit though being of very importance, because than it would be too late for people to change of idea or to come to God.

Jesus told many parables where he showed how careful we have to be not to miss the boat. He warned with his stories how when not being attentive we can miss his return and even worse miss our chances to enter the small gate of the Kingdom of God. Sharp-eyed we should be looking for the signs of that times to come.

In the capitalist world people come more under pressure and with many modern tools and electronic gadgets lots of people are drawn away from the Eternal Divine Creator God. People have become convinced they themselves can create the world how they want it and can do whatever looks best for them, to make them richer. The majority came to love the world and want to be full part of that world, they think they can manage and control.

In this world not many are willing to confess with their mouth the sent one from God who came to save the world. Not many are willing to believe that man would have been taken out of the dead. they should know we are given a chance to be saved.

Romans 10:9 UKJV That if you shall confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in yours heart that God has raised him from the dead, you shall be saved.

The majority do not want to see how Jesus is that “sent one from God” by whom we can come closer to God because he is the way to God.

John 14:6-7 UKJV Jesus says unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man comes unto the Father, but by me. (7) If all of you had known me, all of you should have known my Father also: and from henceforth all of you know him, and have seen him.

God provided the Book of books to guide us and to allow us to grow in knowledge of God and of Christ. But not many people are interested in taking up those books and to read them. They prefer to follow their own traditions and if they want to believe and go to church, they prefer to go to a church where not to much of their free time is taken up and where they do not have to listen to much of those old writings. How more entertainment there is given in their church how more they love it. Readings from Scripture are of no interest to them.

Jonah and the giant fish in the Jami’ al-tawarikh (c. 1400), Metropolitan Museum of Art

Also concerning doing something for God and Christ not many feel called to take steps to go preaching about bad or good times and about the Kingdom of God. Some who may hear something, do more like Jonah, who instead of going to Nineveh to preach the Word, as God bade him, disliked the work, and went down to Joppa to escape from it. At all times there have been occasions when God’s servants shrank from duty or even went to teach other things than the Scriptural matters, because those things were much more liked and got more attention. That should remind us of Demas who could have been  a potential champion in the New Testament. He travelled and ministered with Paul on several missionary campaigns. At the moment he was most needed by Paul, the waffling man bolted and sought pleasure over sacrifice; temporal delight over eternal gain. Had he stayed the course in faithfulness his name would be held in high esteem today, but now we see that he was disgraced.

In this world we can see many people who say they are Christian but have taken an other god than Jesus. For many Jesus is their god and blinded by human doctrines they do not manage to hear the words of Jesus when he tells about what he is doing and by Whose Power he is doing all those incredible things.

Many people also want to reap their own deeds, like Jonah did, being filled with their own ways. Instead of playing the Jonah, man should better listen to the Words of God and to the words of His many messengers and prophets, like Moses, Abraham, Isaiah and Jesus. Unless you wish to have all the waves and the billows rolling over your head.

By listening to those words, notated in the Holy Scriptures we are given the opportunity to learn more about all those who worked for God and can come to see and learn how we too can come closer to God, like they also came very close to God.

It is by our willingness to read those ancient books, and by following those words for what they tell, and not for what human beings like theologians want people to believe there should be written, that we can come to understand how everything fits the Plan of God and how we can find the Only Real God Who is One and not two or three.

From history we should know that it is man’s pride which always has brought his fall down. From looking at man’s evolution we should learn about the rise and fall of historic civilisations and what it tells us about our own growth.

Collapse can be defined as a rapid and enduring loss of population, identity and socio-economic complexity. Public services crumble and disorder ensues as government loses control of its monopoly on violence.

Virtually all past civilisations have faced this fate. Some recovered or transformed, such as the Chinese and Egyptian. Other collapses were permanent, as was the case of Easter Island. Sometimes the cities at the epicentre of collapse are revived, as was the case with Rome. In other cases, such as the Mayan ruins, they are left abandoned as a mausoleum for future tourists. {Are We On The Road To Civilization Collapse?}

Those living in the beginning of the 21st century should come to see that they are the ones living in a time spoken about on several occasions in the Scriptures. The Book of books warns us for these times, and it is up to us to see it or to ignore it.

And while our scale may now be global, collapse appears to happen to both sprawling empires and fledgling kingdoms alike. There is no reason to believe that greater size is armour against societal dissolution. Our tightly-coupled, globalised economic system is, if anything, more likely to make crisis spread. {Are We On The Road To Civilization Collapse?}

Man should come to see that he made a mess of it all. He got the right to handle the creation and to show god that he could manage and govern it rightly. Man had doubted God His position to Master it all. Now it is getting high time we come to agree that God is the Most Righteous to govern the universe.

People became increasingly specialised but also very disconnected from the production of food and basic goods. They thought they could play for God, and many did feel as if they were  god. There disrespect for God’s creation made that they even did not come to see how they were destroying their own universe.

Think of civilisation as a poorly-built ladder. As you climb, each step that you used falls away. A fall from a height of just a few rungs is fine. Yet the higher you climb, the larger the fall. Eventually, once you reach a sufficient height, any drop from the ladder is fatal. {Are We On The Road To Civilization Collapse?}

Many passed the Jacob’s ladder and most people got blinded by the many theories from scientists and theologians, instead of listening to the Words written down in the Book of books and showing proper respect for the divine Creator and His creation.

Reflecting about how everything came into being and how so many things went wrong, showing a willingness to listen to what is written in the bible, people can come to know the Only One True God. And that is what we all should do urgently!

It is God’s Will that each individual shows were his or her heart wants to be and if he or she is willing to accept the Eternal Elohim Hashem Jehovah as the Only One true God.

When there is a relationship with God there is a possibility to grow

When we are looking for some one for having a good or close relationship with, we can assure you the best one to have a good relationship with is the Most High Divine Creator God Who made it possible for you to be here in the first place.

Having a relationship with Him is a requirement for each living soul (human being). The divine Maker of all things wants His creatures to be connected with Him and to have a loving relationship with them as a Father – son relationship, or even more or stronger.

Many people may feel very lonely in this world. Many may also feel very empty.

Emptiness in our heart is the lack of fulfilment in being a set apart or sacred being in the universe. Normally each human being is, from the beginning of times, written in the Book of Life and Death. In that book are all the names of those who shall live and die and of those who shall be able to live again after they died, but also of those who shall have to face their second death after they were taken out of the dead to come before the judgement stool of the returned Jesus Christ.

In this world we are placed and have to find ways to live. We can feel very bad in it or be very happy in it. Though it must be said that there are people whatever they try to do they do not seem to find happiness nor luck or find success in what they are trying to fulfil.

You should know when you feel empty, when you feel a great big void like a very deep well or big hole, then it probably is that there is not yet that light which is available for you too.
You may think there is nothing that can fill that hole, but there really is. There is even such Supreme Being that on top of the hole can build a mountain so high that you shall be able to look down at this terrible word and wonder why you did not see it earlier or did not find Him earlier.

It is never too late to go for Him. Go and find the One Who is the Only One Who is much stronger and grater than any man on this earth or any being in the universe.

Though no man can see Him, He is the Most Powerful, the Mightiest of all. He is also the One Who can give everything you need: fulfilled hope and luck.

If you feel emptiness in your soul He is the One to look for. He is the One Who makes it possible to be found.
But to find Him one must do something.
One has to be willing to find God and therefore to open the mind and heart and let Him to come into the personal being.
One has to let Him fill the heart with the warmth and knowledge of His Word.

Let Him fill your heart and soul, i.e. your whole being, and you shall become richer and richer (in spirit) by the day.

Revolt against the Authority of the Bible

Concerning the authority of the Holy Scriptures there has bean much debate. Let us have a look on what is written about the Power of God’s Word and its authority in a well-known encyclopedia of the Bible.

The Power of God’s Word.

The Bible remains the most extensively printed, widely translated, and frequently read book in the world. Its words have been treasured in the hearts of multitudes like none other. All who have received its gifts of wisdom and promises of new life and power were at first strangers to its redemptive message, and many were hostile to its teaching and spiritual demands. In every generation its power to challenge persons of all races and lands has been demonstrated. Those who cherish the Book because it sustains future hope, brings meaning and power to the present, and correlates a misused past with the forgiving grace of God, would not long experience such inner rewards if Scripture were not known to them as the authoritative, divinely revealed truth. To the evangelical Christian, Scripture is the Word of God, given in the objective form of propositional truths through divinely inspired prophets and apostles, and the Holy Spirit is the giver of faith through that Word.

Western civilization is in a severe “authority crisis” which is not confined solely to the realm of religious faith, nor is it specially or uniquely threatening to Bible believers. Parental authority, marital authority, political authority, academic authority, and ecclesiastical authority are all being deeply questioned. Not only particular authorities — the Scripture, the pope, political rulers, and so on — but the concept of authority itself is vigorously challenged. Today’s crisis of biblical authority thus reflects the uncertainties of civilizational consensus:

Who has the power and the right to receive and to require submission?

Revolt Against Biblical Authority.

As the sovereign Creator of all, the God of the Bible wills and has the right to be obeyed. Judge of men and nations, the self-revealed God wields unlimited authority and power. All creaturely authority and power is derived from that of God. The power God bestows is a divine trust, a stewardship. God’s creatures are morally accountable for their use or misuse of it. In fallen human society God wills civil government for the promotion of justice and order. He approves an ordering of authoritative and creative relationships in the home by stipulating certain responsibilities of husbands, wives, and children. He wills a pattern of priorities for the church as well: Jesus Christ the head, prophets and apostles through whom redemptive revelation came, and so on.

The inspired Scriptures, revealing God’s transcendent will in objective written form, are the rule of faith and conduct through which Christ exercises his divine authority in the lives of Christians.

Revolt against particular authorities has in our time widened into a revolt against all transcendent and external authority. The widespread questioning of authority is condoned and promoted in many academic circles.
Philosophers with a radically secular outlook have affirmed that God and the supernatural are mythical conceptions, that natural processes and events comprise the only ultimate reality. All existence is said to be temporal and changing, all beliefs and ideals are declared to be relative to the age and culture in which they appear. Biblical religion, therefore, like all other, is asserted to be merely a cultural phenomenon. The Bible’s claim to divine authority is dismissed by such thinkers; transcendent revelation, fixed truths, and unchanging commandments are set aside as pious fiction.

In the name of humanity’s supposed “coming of age,” radical secularism champions human autonomy and creative individuality. Human beings are lords of their own destiny and inventors of their own ideals and values, it is said. They live in a supposedly purposeless universe that has itself presumably been engendered by a cosmic accident. Therefore human beings are declared to be wholly free to impose upon nature and history whatever moral criteria they prefer. In such a view, to insist on divinely given truths and values, on transcendent principles, would be to repress self-fulfillment and retard creative personal development. Hence the radically secular view goes beyond opposing particular external authorities whose claims are considered arbitrary or immoral; radical secularism is aggressively hostile to all external authority, viewing it as intrinsically restrictive of the autonomous human spirit.

Any reader of the Bible will recognize rejection of divine authority and definitive revelation of what is right and good as an age-old phenomenon. It is not at all peculiar to the contemporary person “come of age”; it was found already in Eden. Adam and Eve revolted against the will of God in pursuit of individual preference and supposed self-interest. But their revolt was recognized to be sin, not rationalized as philosophical “gnosis” at the frontiers of evolutionary advance.

If one takes a strictly developmental view, which considers all reality contingent and changing, where is the basis for humanity’s decisively creative role in the universe? How could a purposeless cosmos cater to individual self-fulfillment?

Only the biblical alternative of the Creator-Redeemer God, who fashioned human beings for moral obedience and a high spiritual destiny, truly preserves the permanent, universal dignity of the human species. The Bible does so, however, by a demanding call for personal spiritual decision.
The Bible sets forth the superiority of humans to the animals, their high dignity (“little less than God”—Ps 8:5) because of the divine rational and moral image that all bear by reason of creation.

In the context of universal human involvement in Adamic sin, the Bible utters a merciful divine call to redemptive renewal through the mediatorial person and work of Christ. Fallen humanity is invited to experience the Holy Spirit’s renewing work, to be conformed to the image of Jesus Christ, and to anticipate a final destiny in the eternal presence of the God of justice and justification.

Contemporary rejection of biblical tenets does not rest on any logical demonstration that the case for biblical theism is false; it turns rather on a subjective preference for alternative views of “the good life.”
The Bible is not the only significant reminder that human beings stand daily in responsible relationship to the sovereign God. He reveals his authority in the cosmos, in history, and in inner conscience, a disclosure of the living God that penetrates into the mind of every person (Rom 1:18–20; 2:12–15). Rebellious suppression of that “general divine revelation” does not wholly succeed in suspending a fearsome sense of final divine accountability (Rom 1:32).
Yet it is the Bible as “special revelation” that most clearly confronts our spiritually rebellious race with the reality and authority of God.

In the Scriptures, the character and will of God, the meaning of human existence, the nature of the spiritual realm, and the purposes of God for humankind in all ages are stated in propositionally intelligible form that all can understand. The Bible publishes in objective form the criteria by which God judges individuals and nations, and the means of moral recovery and restoration to personal fellowship with him.

Regard for the Bible is therefore decisive for the course of Western culture and in the long run for human civilization generally. Intelligible divine revelation, the basis for belief in the sovereign authority of the Creator-Redeemer God over all human life, rests on the reliability of what Scripture says about God and his purposes. Modern naturalism impugns the authority of the Bible and assails the claim that the Bible is the Word of God written, that is, a transcendently given revelation of the mind and will of God. Attack upon scriptural authority is the storm center both in the controversy over revealed religion and in the modern conflict over civilizational values.

Life and an assembly of books

Today, more than ever, men and women are concerned about job satisfaction and a way to live wealthy. Most of them though think money shall bring them the aspired luck. Having so much wealth and so many gadget around them to make life easier and more pleasant, lots of people still do not seem to be satisfied.

Novels in a Polish bookstore

They do not seem to be able to find “fulfilment“. Being pressed at work, more and more being pushed by society which wants more from man, people become more and more frustrated and sometimes even do not get to the point where the can wonder what the purpose is of this all.

Strangely enough lots of people looking for job satisfaction are confronted with employment itself being partly responsible for the negative experiences of time management and of joblessness because, in allowing people only a limited space in which to cultivate other interests, skills and social ties, full-time jobs can often leave people with few personal and social resources to fall back on.

Lots of people get so much caught up by work they have not time for others and often even not enough time for their own family. That is one of the reasons we see  so many families breaking up.

Many feel an emptiness in their life which does never seemed to feel filled in. All the time when people seem to reach something they are confronted by somebody else who has done better. Whatever a person may achieve in life, there is someone who probably has done better in another side of the world.  As such there is no point boasting about one’s achievements.

The point is that our happiness should not be built on achievements but should flow from fulfilment, from the hole that makes whole. {Have you found the hole that makes you whole}

In this very fast turning around commercial world, lots of people are focusing everything around their own self and do everything they think possible to acquire great things for themself. It takes, for many, a very long time before they come to see that  this attitude is not at all going to make them happy for a long time.

Focusing on themselves people get to feel the vacuum inside themselves better. They shall have to come to the understanding that already from the beginning of times man wanted to have a partner to be one with, and not until we try to become one with each other we shall like trying to fill an endless deep pit. Every person of mankind shall have to find the right way and the right material to fill  the “hole” to feel truly whole.

This is not the joy that achievement, material wealth or success gives.  Have you wondered why some supposedly successful people commit suicide? {Have you found the hole that makes you whole}

For many it takes many years before they come to see that we have our place in society and that we are in a certain way all connected with each other and with the world around us. Once people start seeing the importance of the relationship between them and those around them, them at last also becoming concerned about how they can relate in a proper and good way to others, helping them to achieve great things, then they shall come to realise they may become partakers on the path of fulfilment.  From then onwards, when they have opened their hearts to others, the hole inside will be filled with joy and that will make them whole.

That essential element in life, becoming partakers of journeying people to fulfilment, is not an easy task laid out for mankind. In case much more people could see that there exist a manual to come to the best life possible, they would much more easier find answers to their questions and ways to make life easier.

It is a fact that the book that tells us why we were made, what our purpose is, how we can make the best of life, is seldom consulted. No wonder so many people are muddled up, do not know were to go or what to do, and are caught up in a big mess.

The book which is already a long time provided for mankind to get on the right path to happiness, is the most unread Bestseller of all times. That book does not exist just out of one story and genre, but is really a library of books. The tittle “Bible” actually means “the Books,” coming from the Greek biblia (“books”).  Those different books are bound together in one or two volumes, because they make up a set. They depend on one another. Together they form a complete story.

Often people use the word “Holy“, meaning “set-apart” or “separate”, put aside for a special use. The bible is different from all other books, because though somebody penned it down, that person is not actually the author himself. When we look at what they write about themselves, we shall be struck with the transparent honesty of those writers, who do not hide the bad things they did, or annoying things which happened to themselves because of their own fault. Their openness in writing of failure and sin, even their own, is most unusual.

When we look at their direct and forceful language, we also notice that they themselves contribute a lot of words or sayings not to themselves but to a Higher Being. That Higher Being they consider the Originator of everything, the Divine Creator of heavens and earth. This Provider of the Voice bringing the Words to those people living here on this earth at different times, also chose Himself those Scriptures to stay in existence. This Supreme Being no man can see and live, took care that His Words were written down and given from one to an other generation. It was Him Who also preserved the words that truly reveal Him and teach us of His person. Even when so many people tried to destroyed His words, they never succeeded in doing so.  They died, decayed, became dust and forgotten, but The Words of God stayed lively continually going from one person to an other, bringing life to many.

His Words have been of great help for many, throughout the ages. Lots of people turned to those Words in times of need or distress. Those Words form the Book of books were revered and relied on for guidance.

They were the books, therefore, which were copied and translated when others were lost.

Though many of the books are ridiculed and lots of people make a fool of some of the Biblical characters, it is all the distortion of simple Bible facts that has led to ignorance and misunderstanding.

We need to get back to the beginning and to the Biblical truth.
Then we can make some sense of our life.

All about love, not needing disasters

When we go looking for God we should realise that God is all about love. When we are not willing to love ourselves (being creatures created in the image of God), love those around us, love the creatures, animals and plants around us, it will be difficult to come to see where God’s Hand is at work.

Lots of people do not see God at work as long as everything looks good for them, but as soon something terrible happens in their life they start looking for God. Though we do not need something terrible to happen in our life for going to look for God or to find Him. He is everywhere and wants to be found.

A rope tornado in its dissipating stage, Tecumseh, Oklahoma.

He does not punishes anybody with earthquakes, tsunamis or other natural disasters. He is a God of love who calls for His creatures without putting an extra burden onto them. When we are willing to look at the beauty of the earth around us we shall come to see the Master’s Hand.

Surrounded by all luxurious materials we live in a world where many are not interested in God, but that should not keep you away form looking for Him. All those things you see around you should make you wonder if you deserve them and how it comes to be possible to live in such a world of technology and wonders of nature.

Every season brings new and different beauties and shows how miraculously inventive everything is made. No man would ever be capable to make such microcosm.

There is the miniature world which surpasses anything what man can make. Though man wants to place himself most often in the centre of the universe he is just a small-scale model of that grand universe, which is spoken off in the Book of books, presenting the many stars as grains of sands on the beach, uncountable.

“Man is callyd the lasse worlde, for he shewyth in hymselfe lyknesse of all the worlde,”

wrote John Trevisa when he translated the Latin text of Bartholomaeus Anglicus’ encyclopedia in the 14th century. {Examples of microcosm in a sentence – Merriam Webster dictionary}

Putting one foot in front of the other, to keep going in this system of things, each person receives many influences and can have contact with many ideas or thoughts, bringing him in positions to chose.

When hearing all those people expressing their ideas, being confronted with so much variety of understandings, you should know that there is that Book of books which can give so much clarification and which can give you so much insight, making your search so much easier. Therefore best provide yourself with a copy of the bible.
In it you shall be able to find examples of many people who also where doubting about their existence and the role of a god or the God in it. In it you shall also hear about disasters that took take place and about trouble people got themselves in, and how God came to their rescue.

By going back in history looking at the many examples who found God and who let themselves be guided by God you also shall be able to find God.

Try finding people around you with whom you can talk about God and about His creation. Know that it does not always have to be big churches that are bringing Biblical truth. Remember also that Jesus gave his followers the task to go out into the world to preach the gospel of the coming Kingdom. Try to talk to such people who walk on the streets or who come at your doorstep. Those preachers following Jesus probably are the best ones to get you on your way to look for God.

We are here for you. In the hope of helping you, we also hope you shall be able to find some sincere lovers of God in your neighbourhood to help you. But do not worry if you do not find them. Even on your own, you shall be able to find God if you sincerely want to look for Him.

Do not wait until something bad happens in your life, but start today, not postponing because it is now you have to live with the idea that it can be finished at any moment.

Success.

A King who wanted to extol a King above all kings

When we go looking for God it is not bad to also have a look at those who in previous centuries looked for God or had found the Most High God.

One of the great Kings in the Middle East, who was secretly anointed by the prophet Samuel, after revoking Saul‘s designation as king, was chosen king by the elders of Judah. In the civil war that ensued, Ishbaal and Abner were slain. Their deaths removed the last obstacles from David‘s path to the throne, and about 1010 B.C.E. he was crowned king of all the Israelites.

As a skilled harpist and writer he wrote many psalms which we still have to bring us thinking about the One Who was praised by this king.

David’s Psalm 145 is a remarkable song of praise, extolling all that God must be. In reading or singing this Psalm each of us must think carefully about each point David makes. It becomes so easy, especially with hymns we become very familiar with, to repeat the words – simply as words – and the reality of their meanings cease to penetrate our minds in any wholesome sense. When they are about the absolute greatness of the Creator of all things we should feel utterly awed and totally humbled by what we read – and sing.

Psalms 145:2-3 (RNKJV)
2 Every day will I bless thee; and I will praise thy name for ever and ever. 3 Great is יהוה {Jehovah}, and greatly to be praised; and his greatness is unsearchable.

Would this frighten you? Or do we have no opportunity to find God because He is “Unsearchable”? Though His greatness, to which there is no end, can not be searched out, His  works, will declare God’s Power.

Psalms 145:4 (RNKJV)
4 One generation shall praise thy works to another, and shall declare thy mighty acts.

Yes, the more the wonders of creation have been discovered – down to the minutest detail, the more this is seen as absolutely true – therefore, with ever greater feeling we will say – and sing –

Psalms 145:1 (RNKJV)

Psalms 145
1 I will extol thee, my Elohim, O king; and I will bless thy name for ever and ever.

Extolling is praising highly. The act of extolling the worshippers of God brought, should bring us to wonder why they where so keen to bring such honour to that God. Why also was the Name of that God so important that they wanted to bless His name “forever and ever” (verse 1)?

In the previous millennia there where many people who followed the men of God and knew all those incredible stories which were told from one generation unto the next.

Today there are not many parents who tell those stories from ancient days to their children. Not many do know the Biblical stories of the first writings of the Holy Scriptures, the Torah the Humash or Pentateuch, the Nevim or Nevi’im (or Prophets) and the Ketuvim aleph or third and final section of the Tanakh (Hebrew Bible)

In the Pre-Messianic Scriptures or Old Testament we can find many examples of people who doubted if there was a God accompanying them and willing to guide them through their life. Many of them became very well convinced how that God of gods, the Host of hosts, was willing to listen to them and to help them.

The structure of part of a DNA double helix

Many people in the past could see God’s wondrous works. Those Works of God had lots of people brought in awe. They could see the works of man and compare them with the works of God and saw that man’s contribution to the world was nothing compared to God’s contribution to this world.

What is the wonder of the miniature world of DNA – now made ‘visible’ through the cleverness of humans. Truly, at “the time of the end … knowledge shall increase” (Daniel 12:4) – and it has!
David’s Psalm reaches a mind compelling conclusion with his inspired words that the Most High God, the Elohim Jehovah is near to all who call on Him, to all who call on Him in truth”.

Psalms 145:9-13 (RNKJV)
9 יהוה is good to all: and his tender mercies are over all his works. 10 All thy works shall praise thee, O יהוה; and thy saints shall bless thee. 11 They shall speak of the glory of thy kingdom, and talk of thy power; 12 To make known to the sons of men his mighty acts, and the glorious majesty of his kingdom. 13 Thy kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and thy dominion endureth throughout all generations.

Coming closer to the end-times it shall be even more important that people speak about God’s Wonder-works and have His Name be known all over the earth.

Matthew 24:14  (RNKJV)
And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.

At that time there shall be again enough people who shall look up at Him Who fulfils the desire of those who fear Him. Him that assures us that He also hears our cry and saves them that call unto Him.

Psalms 145:17-20 (RNKJV)
17 יהוה is righteous in all his ways, and holy in all his works. 18 יהוה is nigh unto all them that call upon him, to all that call upon him in truth. 19 He will fulfil the desire of them that fear him: he also will hear their cry, and will save them. 20 יהוה preserveth all them that love him: but all the wicked will he destroy.

We may count on it that the Only One True God shall preserve all who love Him. But we also must know that all the wicked He will destroy.

The people who want to guide you and help you on the search to God let their mouth speak the praise of the Most High, and want to proclaim all flesh His holy name forever and ever. When His kingdom reaches its climax – all lovers of God shall be rejoicing and see how this is wonderfully true!

We make sure now, showing our love by our actions to demonstrate we mean what we say – and at that time we will be there – and how we “will extol” Him then!

And we do hope you shall be also accompanying us, gathering with those who also want to be part of the body of Christ, worshipping the same God as Christ, the God of Abraham.
