Believe in Jesus

On this website you shall be able to find texts on faith and beliefs, looking at some biblical characters, especially in two who are mixed up with each other often. Though the Bible brings us the Words of the Divine Creator God Who does not tell lies and Who declared Jesus to be his only begotten beloved son.

Numbers 23:19  (CPDV)
God is not like a man, so that he would lie, nor is he like a son of man, so that he would be changed. Therefore, having spoken, will he not act? Has he ever spoken, and not fulfilled?

Hebrews 6:18  (CPDV)
so that by two immutable things, in which it is impossible for God to lie, we may have the strongest solace: we who have fled together so as to hold fast to the hope set before us.

John 1:15-18 (CPDV)
15 John offers testimony about him, and he cries out, saying: “This is the one about whom I said: ‘He who is to come after me, has been placed ahead of me, because he existed before me.’ ” 16 And from his fullness, we all have received, even grace for grace. 17 For the law was given though Moses, but grace and truth came through Jesus Christ. 18 No one ever saw God; the only-begotten Son, who is in the bosom of the Father, he himself has described him.

1 John 4:9  (CPDV)
The love of God was made apparent to us in this way: that God sent his only-begotten Son into the world, so that we might live through him.

Matthew 3:13-17 (CPDV)
13 Then Jesus came from Galilee, to John at the Jordan, in order to be baptized by him. 14 But John refused him, saying, “I ought to be baptized by you, and yet you come to me?” 15 And responding, Jesus said to him: “Permit this for now. For in this way it is fitting for us to fulfill all justice.” Then he allowed him. 16 And Jesus, having been baptized, ascended from the water immediately, and behold, the heavens were opened to him. And he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and alighting on him. 17 And behold, there was a voice from heaven, saying: “This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.”

Luke 9:35  (CPDV)
And a voice came from the cloud, saying: “This is my beloved son. Listen to him.”

Luke 9:18-21 (CPDV)
18 And it happened that, when he was praying alone, his disciples also were with him, and he questioned them, saying: “Who do the multitudes say that I am?” 19 But they answered by saying: “John the Baptist. But some say Elijah. Yet truly, others say that one of the prophets from before has risen again.” 20 Then he said to them, “But who do you say that I am?” In response, Simon Peter said, “The Christ of God.” 21 But speaking sharply to them, he instructed them not to tell this to anyone,

John 3:16-18 (CPDV)
16 For God so loved the world that he gave his only-begotten Son, so that all who believe in him may not perish, but may have eternal life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world, in order to judge the world, but in order that the world may be saved through him. 18 Whoever believes in him is not judged. But whoever does not believe is already judged, because he does not believe in the name of the only-begotten Son of God.

It is in this Christ of God that you should place your hope. You should trust that he is the send one from God who managed to put his own will aside to fulfil the will of God.

Not only should you believe in the One Who send Jesus and rewards those who seek Him, but you should also believe Jeshua is the Kristos, the Christ or Messiah by whom salvation has come to man.

John 5:23-24 (CPDV)
23 so that all may honor the Son, just as they honor the Father. Whoever does not honor the Son, does not honor the Father who sent him. 24 Amen, amen, I say to you, that whoever hears my word, and believes in him who sent me, has eternal life, and he does not go into judgment, but instead he crosses from death into life.

Hebrews 11:6 (CPDV)
6 But without faith, it is impossible to please God. For whoever approaches God must believe that he exists, and that he rewards those who seek him.

Here on this site you can find several articles that look at the right faith each of us should have. At this site you may find to read what faith really means, how people practice their faith, how is it that there are so many religious groups (non-Christian as well as Christian denominations) and what their meaning is, how they stand in our relationship to God.

By looking at the best example for a good relationship with God, we shall spend lots of time looking at Jesus.

When we go on the quest for life, go looking for God, we must ask ourselves why we want to look for Him and if we want to be ready to believe in Him as we begin to discover that God is a reality which we must take into account.

When we talk about faith, religion is not far away. Some question the usefulness of religion, others find it a dangerous thing because, according to them, it is the cause for so many wars. Those who claim that religion is the cause of terror and violence, we want to prove that such an assertion is not a premium because there have been more political crimes and wars to gain power than really for the faith.

Hopefully, you can find in the here presented articles about faith, beliefs and religion enough answers. We also do hope you shall come to see how religious groups muddled up with the words of the Holy Scriptures and brought false teachings and created many human dogmas which are contradictory to the Biblical teachings.

Please do not be afraid to respond to the articles and to propose an article or to put your questions forward if you are still left with questions.
