Jehovah, the Adonai, Elohim God of gods our stronghold
The Divine Creator has a Holy Name יהוה = Jehovah, the whole world should come to know.
A Stronger character than any man, needed by all of them
The Elohim Hashem Jehovah
We may live in a troubled world, for sure it is a world where not many are loving the Creator God. Some people in this world are looking forward to the return of Jesus Christ, the son of God, holding fast to the Word of God for getting wisdom.
That Word given to us where is told that God, who can not be seen by man, does not tell lies, tells us that there can only be One True Eternal God, who is One. He was the One Who presented Himself to His creation and Who was the El Shaddai Who appeared to Abraham. It is undeniable that the person Jesus, referred to in the Bible, the sword of the Spirit, asked us to come into the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of him, the son of God, who declared himself and the Father as separate.
The Most High All Mighty God of gods is the One Who makes that everything we see can exist. He, Who does not change, allows everything to be. Being God Almighty, He has the power to do whatever He wants in order to accomplish His purposes. (Genesis 17:1) He does not look down on His creatures but wants a good relationship with them.
He says that He delights in justice, graciousness, and righteousness:
“22 “Speak, ‘This is what the utterance of Jehovah is: “The dead bodies of mankind* must also fall like manure upon the face of the field and like a row of newly cut grain after the reaper, with no one to do the gathering up.”’”+23 This is what Jehovah has said: “Let not the wise man brag about himself because of his wisdom,+ and let not the mighty man brag about himself because of his mightiness.+ Let not the rich man brag about himself because of his riches.”+
24 “But let the one bragging about himself brag about himself because of this very thing, the having of insight+ and the having of knowledge of me, that I am Jehovah,+ the One exercising loving-kindness, justice* and righteousness in the earth;+ for in these things I do take delight,”+ is the utterance of Jehovah..” (Jeremiah 9:22-24)
“8 For I, Jehovah, am loving justice,+ hating robbery along with unrighteousness.*+ And I will give their wages in trueness,+ and an indefinitely lasting covenant I shall conclude toward them.+ 9 And their offspring* will actually be known even among the nations,+ and their descendants in among the peoples. All those seeing them will recognize them,+ that they are the offspring whom Jehovah has blessed.”+” (Isaiah 61:8-9)
Many people may not at all be interested in God’s existence. There is no searching of His understanding. (Isaiah 40:28). It is true that for man it is very difficult to proof the existence of God scientifically or to believe in something where we have absolutely no evidence for. Many will say to you
“You are deluded! There’s no evidence for God.”
“This is just wishful thinking that comforts you. Grow up, face reality, and only believe what you have evidence to support!”
But we should know that it is given to the fool to say that God does not exist. (Psalm 14:1)
If God does not exist, then lots of people their personal experience of a non-existent God is delusional. If Christianity is false, then the commonplace experience of experiencing God’s love through nature, conversations at work, and caring for neighbours is simply, plainly delusional. In such case we can say that the brain is clearly misfiring to give the perception of the supernatural when everything is really just matter and energy. Though lots of people also want to see and compare God with themselves, but God cannot be seen and He is not one like ourself. (Psalm 50:21)
God reproves the wicked man and gave His Word for man to get Him to know better. To start with, a good summary definition of God is
“the Supreme Being; the Creator and Ruler of all that is; the Self-existent One who is perfect in power, goodness, and wisdom.”
God is not only
“the source of life.” (Psalm 36:9)
but also the
“Sustainer of life”.
So
“He did not leave Himself without witness in that He did good, giving you rains from heaven and fruitful seasons, filling your hearts to the full with food and good cheer.” (Acts 14:17)
From the pages of the Bible, by which we can come to know our Creator, Jehovah, and learn what kind of God He is, it is revealed that
“God is love.” (1 John 4:16; Exodus 34:6, 7)
The 66 books which form a harmonious collection, called the Bible (from Genesis to Revelation), give numerous accounts showing Who is behind everything. By God’s Words we can learn it was man himself who abandoned God, but that God always was there for man to show His love. Always have justice and equity been very important to God. But so are grace and mercy. And so, while God will hold everyone accountable, each for their own lives, He extends His grace to the repentant sinner. He promises that,
“‘21 “‘Now as regards someone wicked, in case he should turn back from all his sins that he has committed+ and he should actually keep all my statutes and execute justice and righteousness,+ he will positively keep living. He will not die.+ 22 All his transgressions that he has committed—they will not be remembered against him.+ For his righteousness that he has done he will keep living.’+
23 “‘Do I take any delight at all in the death of someone wicked,’+ is the utterance of the Sovereign Lord Jehovah, ‘[and] not in that he should turn back from his ways and actually keep living?’+ … 32 “‘For I do not take any delight in the death of someone dying,’+ is the utterance of the Sovereign Lord Jehovah. ‘So cause a turning back and keep living,+ O YOU people.’”'” (Ezekiel 18: 21-23, 32 Ref.B.)
Brother Robert Roberts wrote:
” God’s goodness is seen in nothing more than in this- insistence on His own glory and supremacy as the first condition of human fellowship with him: for how stands the fact?
That man seeking his own glory fails by the very constitution of things to attain any good at all.
Man living for himself cannot rise to even what possibilities of good lie latent in his organization as a creature formed in the image of the Elohim. He necessarily sinks into all kinds of earth gravitating ignoblenesses: languishes in sluggishness and ennui [boredom]; spends his fire and his interest, and sinks in a quagmire of vanity and vexation of spirit.
For a man to see God and love and worship and serve Him is, on the contrary, to rise to beauties and joys of life even now that are outside the highest experiences or conceptions of the most dashing child of disobedience . . .
How good for God to insist that without His exaltation in the way He has appointed there can be no fellowship or well-being or life”“The eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect towards Him.” (2 Chronicles 16:9) .
“we walk by faith and not by sight.”
“for the Lord God is a sun and shield: the Lord will give grace and glory: no good thing will He withhold from them that walk uprightly. O Lord of Hosts, blessed is the man that trusteth in Thee.” (Psalm 84:2 : 12)
Brother A. T. Jannaway wrote in The Christadelphian 1890:
Let us not trouble ourselves about the apparent hardness and arbitrariness of the divine conditions of salvation. God is all-wise, and therefore knows what is best. No amount of dissatisfaction on our part will cause God to alter the conditions; neither will our tampering with them change them.
In dealing with this matter, we must be sensible and honest. God would have all men to be saved, but all men will not be saved,
because, for a variety of known and unknown reasons, they will not fall in with this simple and reasonable condition.
God’s method will sift the sons of men as in a sieve.Mercy is the tranquility of God’s omnipotence, and the sweetness of His omnipresence: the fruit of His eternity, and the compassion of His immensity; the chief satisfaction of His justice; the triumph of His wisdom, and the patient perseverance of His love.
Wherever we go – there is mercy; the peaceful, active, broad, deep, endless mercy of our Heavenly Father.
If we work by day, we work in mercy’s light, and we sleep at night in the lap of our Father’s mercy.God is truth, love, wisdom, and all might.
We are, as it were blind.
By degrees He opens our eyes and enables us by dint of sore trial – to know him little by little.
Every time the flesh is foiled by the spirit, so often is a rent made in the veil, and we know more of God.
Every time the reverse takes place, so often does the veil fall again and God disappears from our view.
The doctrines of men thicken this veil, and the first thing for the acceptance of truth is to unlearn human doctrines and become as a little child.
Hence a Publican finds it easier to accept the truth than a Pharisee.
The loving God made a provision for the ones who want to repent. A provision to atone for the sins of those who want to be made right with Him. Throughout the centuries God has called man to come to Him. Those willing to hear His Voice and listening to it, taking those words at heart, God always welcomes them as His children.
Brother Robert Roberts in his ‘Diary of a Voyage‘ wrote:
The doctrines of the truth embody the thoughts of God, and the thoughts of God are higher than the thoughts of man, and, therefore, the majority of men easily fail to rise to the height of them, or easily fall from their height when lifted up to them.
The death of Christ has more to do with the exaltation of God than the salvation of man.
Most men take in the latter more easily than the former, and quickly get astray through the power of mere humanitarianism.God’s goodness is seen in nothing more than in this- insistence on His own glory and supremacy as the first condition of human fellowship with him: for how stands the fact?
That man seeking his own glory fails by the very constitution of things to attain any good at all. Man living for himself cannot rise to even what possibilities of good lie latent in his organization as a creature formed in the image of the Elohim.
He necessarily sinks into all kinds of earth gravitating ignoblenesses: languishes in sluggishness and ennui; spends his fire and his interest, and sinks in a quagmire of vanity and vexation of spirit.
For a man to see God and love and worship and serve Him is, on the contrary, to rise to beauties and joys of life even now that are outside the highest experiences or conceptions of the most dashing child of disobedience . . .
How good for God to insist that without His exaltation in the way He has appointed there can be no fellowship or well-being or life. {Robert Roberts}
Several lovers of God did not mind continuing publishing the Name of the divine Creator, though the world did everything to have His Name to disappear in oblivion. They have forgotten that God’s Name shall resound over the earth for ever. In the past as well now and in the future many will proclaim the name of the God Who is above all the gods, man made for himself. They, like we, ascribe the greatness unto our God and want to be His children. We do know that He is the Light-tower, the Watchtower and the Rock, Whose work is perfect and on Who we may always count.
Many people shall try to judge you when you go looking for God or when you have found God and want to worship only Him, as we do, please do know then man’s judgement is not so important as the ways of God which are the most righteous judgement:
A God of faithfulness and without iniquity, Just and right is He. The world has dealt corruptly with Him, because they do not want to be His children, it is their blemish. They are a perverse and crooked generation. Do ye thus requite the All Mighty LORD of Lord of lords? Remember that you might be foolish people and unwise by ignoring the Most High Establisher God. We too should remember the days of old, considering the years of many generations.
Know that when you ask for God the Father, He will show Himself to you. When the Most High gave to the nations their inheritance, when He separated the children of men, He set the bounds of the peoples according to the number of the children of Israel. For God’s portion is His people, He will be their Mighty Rock, fence, safety and fortress, their refuge, the best intimate relation to look for. The God of our rock, in Him we will trust and hope that you also will take Him as your shield and the horn of your salvation, your high tower, and your refuge. So that you also may find hope and courage for everyday living. That you might gain Christ and trust Jehovah. Remember that He alone is the Most High Saviour, because He authorised the man from Nazareth to be His arrow of salvation so that this man could be a saviour for mankind and to be a mediator between God and man, the helmet of salvation we do have to accept. (Deuteronomy 32:3-9,12-20; 2 Samuel 22:3; 2 Kings 13:17; Psalm 3:8; Luke 1:69,77; Acts 4:1; Ephesians 6:17)
At this site and at our Weebly blog we like to present you with texts so that you shall be able to come to know the Creator deity, the Adonai Elohim Hashem Jehovah and see the difference between Him and His sent one, His only begotten son, the “Messiah,” a Servant who willingly suffered and died a vicarious death in order to pay for the sins of those who would repent and trust in Him.
Why not make it a habit to read God’s Word daily in order to get to know your Creator? Study the Bible carefully with the help of those who are familiar with its contents. (Acts 8:26-35) Doing so, you will see that he is also a God of justice, who will not permit wickedness forever. (Deuteronomy 32:4) Maintaining a balance between love and justice is not easy for man, but in His wisdom, Jehovah keeps them in perfect balance. (Romans 11:33; 16:27) Being God Almighty, He has the power to do whatever He wants in order to accomplish his purposes. (Genesis 17:1) Try to apply the wise counsel that you find in the Bible, and you will appreciate your Creator even more, realizing that His counsel always works to our benefit. Plus remember that God knows your heart and wants you to make the right choices and to act as if everything you think say and do determines your life.
